We successfully completed week 2 of homeschooling, working and parenting, and our dance is starting to gain a little rhythm. We don’t step on each other’s toes as much and we’re even finding a little flow…sometimes.
By the end of the week, I was exhausted by zoom meetings, classes, and workouts, and overwhelmed by all the COVID related news on social media and in emails.
Everyone is telling us to breathe, stick to a schedule, eat healthy foods, go outside, and get a good night’s sleep. This week, this felt too hard to do….even for me, the preacher of it all.
There were a few things that made me smile and even belly laugh, and I found the lightness and laughter helped push me through.
I thought I’d share a few of my favorites in the hopes that you can find some release from all the hype and find some lightness too.
An oldie but goodie about company.
Sing along with Jimmy and the Roots.
This tune will make you smile and it might make you misty.
Don’t touch me, I won’t touch you.
I hope you found some joy in watching and listening to these favorites.
What things are you doing, watching or listening to during these times? I’d love to know. Leave me a comment below.
