I am reminded daily that I have so much to be grateful for. Every time I watch or listen to the news, and every time I find myself feeling like I need more of this or that in order to be happy, I remind myself that I have everything I need and even more to be grateful for.
Since he was a toddler, we have instilled gratitude in our son Gil through a “grateful” journal that we write in. We share what we’re grateful for almost every night at bedtime.
I believe that gratitude is the key to happiness and balance.
In 2019, at the encouragement of my friend Debra Trappen, I chose RISE as my word.
In 2019, RISE I did!
I stepped out of my comfort zone and broke through on my levels. Among other things, I launched this very blog, built and nurtured important relationships, and let go of control in many ways.
Gratitude is my word for 2020, and it seems only natural after such a positive 2019.
What’s your word in 2020? What are you trying to break through?
