The 12 Days of Gratitude

As we move into the mayhem of planning, preparing, shopping, hosting and attending holiday soireés, I thought it might be nice to extend Thanksgiving by creating the 12 days of gratitude rather than the 12 days of Christmas.

Beginning today and each day for the next 12 days, I will share a quick story about something I am grateful for this year.

On this first day of gratitude, I’m grateful for Believe in Balance.

It was just about a year ago when I thought about the idea of starting a blog. I wanted to share my stories and help people like me find balance in their lives through mindfulness.

I’ve learned so much through my yoga practice and want to share what I’ve learned with others who no doubt are experiencing many of the same things I am.

I was petrified, scared to put myself out there, scared to fail, and afraid of being rejected but I took the plunge and here I am. I’m so glad I did. I get so much satisfaction from writing and my hope is that I’m having an impact on others too.
