Mrs. Dodge’s Chicken

When I was growing up my Mom would often make Mrs. Dodge’s chicken.  It was a recipe she’d been given by Mrs. Dodge, a woman who was a colleague of my Dad’s. A simple but super moist, incredibly delicious chicken dish.  

Mrs. Dodge’s chicken was a staple in our house.

Many, many years later, when I met and began dating my husband, I learned that he too had grown up with Mrs. Dodge’s chicken.  Turns out Mrs. Dodge was his Aunt.

I’ll save our “how we met” story for another time and instead invite you to prepare and enjoy this chicken dish that is special to my husband, Greg and I and has been in our families since forever.
